Ambleside

Cloud 9 were appointed to prepare a planning application for a new build chalet bungalow within the curtilage of an existing semi-detached property at the end of a cul-de-sac.

The design proposal was for a contemporary chalet bungalow, drawing on the design aesthetic of the surrounding 1960’s dwellings. Form and massing were informed by the constrained site. External details and materials provide interest and animate the façade.
